What is it about BOYS?

Welcome to the website/store for BiG GUY BOOKS! When boys are little, the thing they want most is to grow up faster. Strange? Not really. It's in our DNA. There are adventures to go on, things to discover, and places to go...but it would be so much easier if we were a little bigger, and older. We want to be a "big guy." Thus the name for our publishing company!

But more importantly, we're all about making totally ENGAGING books that get boys "hooked" on reading. Traditional reading materials and methods used in public schools HAVE LOST their effectiveness against digital media. In today’s age of video games, the Internet and endless YouTube channels, TikTok, Facebook and all the others, parents and teachers are confronting the real challenge of getting kids to read...BOOKS. The “reluctant reader” phenomenon is becoming more prevalent among children of all ages, predominantly boys.

We're going to fix that.
